North Northamptonshire: The byelection in Lloyds and Corby Village ward held on 9 October was won by Lee Duffy. Reform UK hold.
Redcar and Cleveland: The byelection in Skelton East ward held on 9 October was won by Craig Holmes. Reform UK gain from Conservative.
Teignbridge: The byelection in Kenn Valley ward held on 9 October was won by Kevin Smith. Liberal Democrat gain from Conservative.
West Lancashire: The byelection in Aughton and Holborn ward held on 9 October was won by Gordon Johnson. Our West Lancashire gain from an Independent elected for the Labour Party.
Wychavon: The byelection in Bretforton and Offenham held on 9 October was won by Matthew Winfield. Reform UK gain from Conservative.
Bassetlaw: Lewis Stanniland, who was elected for the Conservatives in Tuxford and Trent ward, has joined Reform UK.
Birmingham: Four councillors, all of whom were not reselected by the Labour Party for the next election, have left the party to sit as Independent councillors. They are Mohammed Idrees (Alum Rock ward), Chaman Lal (Soho and Jewellery Quarter ward), Rinkal Shergill (Holyhead ward), and Amar Khan (Stockland Green ward).
Cornwall: Rowland O’Connor, who was elected for Reform UK in St Columb Major, St Mawgan and St Wenn division, has left the party to sit as a ‘Standalone Independent’ councillor.
East Lindsey: Ruchira Yarsley, who was elected as an Independent councillor for Wragby ward and had been in the East Lindsey Independent Group, has joined the Conservative Party.
Erewash: Mick Pace, who was elected for the Labour Party in Derby Road West ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Flintshire: Chrissy Gee, who was elected as an Independent councillor Broughton South ward, has joined the Flintshire People’s Voice group.
Gedling: Roxanne Ellis, who was elected for the Labour Party in Ernehale ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
King’s Lynn and West Norfolk: Jo Rust, who was elected as an Independent councillor for Springwood ward, has joined Your Party; she remains in the Independent Partnership group.
Lincoln: Biff Bean, who was elected for the Labour Party in Hartsholme ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Medway: Robbie Lammas, who was elected for the Conservatives in Princes Park ward, has joined Reform UK.
New Forest: Barry Dunning, who was elected for the Conservatives in Lymington ward, has joined Reform UK.
North East Derbyshire: Jessica Stokes, who was elected for the Conservatives in Clay Cross North ward, has joined the North East Derbyshire Independents.
North Yorkshire: Karl Arthur, who was elected for the Conservatives in Cliffe and North Duffield division, has joined Reform UK.
Northumberland: Scott Lee, who was elected as an Independent councillor for Cramlington East and Double Row ward, has joined the Conservative Party.
Rushcliffe: Debbie Soloman, who was elected for the Conservatives in Newton ward, has joined Reform UK.
South Kesteven: Mark Whittington, who was elected for the Conservatives in Grantham Barrowby Gate ward, has joined Reform UK.
South Ribble: Mathew Forshaw, who was elected for the Conservatives in Coupe Green and Gregson Lane ward, has joined Reform UK.
Suffolk: Heike Sowa, who was elected for the Conservatives in Haverhill Cangle division, has joined Reform UK.
Tameside: Ann Holland, who was elected for the Labour Party in Droylsden West ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Walsall: Six out of the eight members of the Walsall Independent Group (formed by a defection of ex-Labour councillors in 2024) have announced they have joined Your Party, although they will remain in the Independent Group.
