North-west Wales, including Snowdonia; solidly Welsh-speaking, including university town of Bangor. Llais Gwynedd were formed when the Plaid Cymru council proposed school closures in rural areas.

Llanrug has a byelection on 9 July (held by Plaid Cymru). Gareth Roberts (Dewi) moved from Plaid Cymru to Individual member in May 2026. John Pughe (Morfa Tywyn) moved from Plaid Cymru to Individual member in January 2026. Stephen Churchman (Dolbenmaen ward, Liberal Democrat) and Gareth Coj Parry (Labour Party, Hendre) formed Gwynedd First in January 2026.
