Independent Partnership 16 (the Liberal Democrats and Your Party also sit in this group), Independent members 2, Progressive Group 2, Your Party 1. King's Lynn is an old North Sea port town on The Wash; the district includes Sandringham House. A Norfolk county council proposal for a waste incinerator in the district is massively unpopular.

The government proposes to merge the council with Breckland and parts of South Norfolk to create a new unitary West Norfolk council in 2027. Michael de Whalley (Gayton and Grimston) moved from Green Party to Independent Partnership in March 2026. Reform UK gained Hunstanton from Independent Partnership at a byelection on 27 November.
