North Yorkshire Independent 10 (including Reform UK 1), Conservative and Independent 3 (sit in the Conservative group), Independent unaffiliated 4, Liberal Party 1 (sits in the Liberal Democrat group), Social Justice Party 1. The most rural part of Yorkshire, including York itself, the Scarborough/Whitby/Filey coast area, the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales.

Rich Maw (Weaponness and Ramshill) moved from Labour to Independent unaffiliated in May 2024. The Liberal Democrats regained Stray, Woodlands and Hookstone at a byelection on 11 April. Paul Haslam (Bilton and Nidd Gorge) moved from Conservative to Independent unaffiliated in March 2024. Michelle Donohue-Moncrieff (Hunmanby and Sherburn) moved from NY Independent to Independent unaffiliated in February 2024. Mike Jordan (Camblesforth and Carlton) joined Reform UK in February 2024 but remains in the NY Independent group.
