Reform UK regained St Columb Minor and Colan at a byelection on 18 December. Pauline Giles (St Blazey) moved from Conservative to Independent non-aligned in November 2025. Rowland O’Connor (St Columb Major, St Mawgan and St Wenn) left from Reform UK in October 2025 and subsequently formed the Cornish Independent Nonaligned group with four more Reform UK defectors.
