Redcar and Cleveland

Independent Group 12 (including East Cleveland Independent 1), Independent 3. Redcar is based on the chemicals industry; the district includes the seaside resort of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, as well as Guisborough, Loftus and the Cleveland Hills.

The Liberal Democrats gained a seat in Zetland from an Independent elected for Labour, at a byelection on 19 February. Jade Lavan (Zetland) moved from Labour to Independent in October 2025. Reform UK gained a seat in Skelton East from the Conservatives at a byelection on 9 October.
