Beverley Rural has a vacant seat (also held by the Conservatives). The Liberal Democrats gained a seat in Bridlington North from the Conservatives at a byelection on 30 June. Charlie Bayram (Howden) moved from Conservative to Liberal Democrat in May 2022. The Liberal Democrats gained South Hunsley from the Conservatives at a byelection on 7 April.
