Debbie Owen (Connah’s Quay Central) moved from True Independents to the Independent Group in July 2026. At byelections on 9 July, Reform UK gained Connah’s Quay Central from the True Independents, while the Liberal Democrats held Argoed and New Brighton. Roz Mansell (Connah’s Quay Wepre), Mike Peers (Buckley Pentrobin) and Dale Selvester (Queensferry and Sealand) moved from True Independents to Reform UK in July 2026. Arnold Woolley (Buckley Bistre East) moved from Eagle to True Independents in June-July 2026. David Richardson (Connah’s Quay Golftyn) moved from non-aligned to Reform UK, and Helen Brown (Hawarden Aston) and Ian Hodge (Holywell East) moved from Independent to Reform UK, in April 2026. Fran Lister (Brynford and Halkyn) moved from Labour to Liberal Democrat in February 2026.
