Independent 1, non-party 1. Town at the northern edge of the West Midlands, which is based on manufacturing. The residential areas of Aldridge, Darlaston and Willenhall are also included. Dave Church led a radical Labour group in the 1990s which fell foul of the national party.

Pleck and Willenhall South wards have vacant seats (both held by Labour). Labour held Pleck on 16 December with an ineligible candidate. Doug James (Darlaston South) moved from Labour to Independent in July 2021.
