Burnley: Alan Hosker, who was elected for the Conservatives in Hapton with Park ward but left the party in June, has now joined Reform UK.
Conwy: Goronwy Edwards, who was elected as an Independent councillor for Caerhun division, has left the Conwy First Independent Group to sit as a non-aligned member.
Harborough: Martin Sarfas, who was elected for the Liberal Democrats in Lutterworth East ward but joined Reform UK in December 2024, has now left Reform UK to sit as an Independent councillor.
Havant: Elaine Shimbart, who was elected for the Conservatives in Hart Plan ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Horsham: Alan Manton, who was elected for the Conservatives in West Chiltington, Thakeham and Ashington ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Tamworth: Two councillors have left the Conservative group to help form the Tamworth Independent Councillors Group. They are Tina Clements (Wilnecote ward) and Samuel Smith (Spital ward).
Newham: Plaistow South ward, after the death of veteran Labour councillor Neil Wilson. Term ends May next year.
South Ayrshire: Ayr North ward, after the death of Independent councillor Mark Dixon, who had been elected for the Scottish National Party. Term ends 2027.
Walsall: Pelsall ward, after the impending resignation of Conservative councillor Garry Perry. Term ends 2028.
Wigan: Wigan Central ward, after the death of veteran Labour councillor George Davies. Term ends May next year.
