Independent 2. Largest town in Bedfordshire; noted centre for car manufacturing and with a large international airport owned by the council.

Stopsley has a byelection on 4 September (held by the Liberal Democrats). Khtija Malik (Challney) moved from Labour to Independent in August 2025.
