Breckland

Independent and Green Group 3 (includes the Green Party); Independent 2. Breckland is a gorse-covered sandy area in south Norfolk and north Suffolk; the council is based in East Dereham.

The government proposes to merge the council with King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, and parts of South Norfolk, to create a new unitary West Norfolk council in 2027. Dereham Toftwood has a vacant seat (held by an Independent elected for Labour).
