The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.
Results
- Neath Port Talbot: The byelection in Neath East ward held on 28 March was won by Lauren Heard. Labour hold.
- Orkney Islands: The byelection in Stromness and South Isles ward held on 28 March was won by Janette Park. Independent hold.
- Somerset: The byelection in Somerton division held on 28 March was won by Stephen Page. Liberal Democrat hold.
Changes of allegiance
- Adur: Ann Bridges, who was elected for the Conservatives in Widewater ward, has left the party and is sitting as an Independent councillor.
- Dacorum: Goverdhan Silwal, who was elected for the Conservatives in Grovehill ward, has left the party and is sitting as an Independent councillor.
- Hounslow: Amritpal Mann, who was elected for the Labour Party in Heston East ward but left the party last week, has joined the Workers Party of Britain.
- Kent: Mike Whiting, who was elected for the Conservatives in Sheppey division, has been suspended from the party and is sitting as an Independent county councillor.
- Somerset: Steve Ashton, who was elected for the Conservatives in Crewkerne division but left the party last week, has now joined Reform UK.
- South Kesteven: Rosemary Trollope-Bellew, who was elected for the Conservatives in Casewick ward, has left the party to sit as a non-aligned Independent councillor, and Barry Dobson who was similarly elected as a Conservative in Dole Wood ward, has moved to the Democratic Independent Group. Meanwhile the suspension of Conservative councillor Mark Whittington (Grantham Barrowby Gate ward) is over and he has returned to the group.

- Camden: Frognal ward, after the resignation of Conservative leader Gio Spinella. Term ends 2026.
- Cheshire West and Chester: Wolverham ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Michael Edwardson. Term ends 2027.
- Croydon: Park Hill and Whitgift ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Jade Appleton. Term ends 2026.
- Hillingdon: Hillingdon East ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Alan Chapman. Term ends 2026.
- Mid Suffolk: Chilton ward, after the resignation of Green Party councillor David Napier. Term ends 2027.
- Sefton: St Oswald ward, after the death of Labour councillor Paula Spencer. Term ends 2027.
- Somerset: Mendip South division, after the resignation of Liberal Democrat councillor Alex Wiltshire. Term ends 2027.
