The Liberal Democrats gained a seat in Westhoughton North and Hunger Hill from the Conservatives on 16 November; Farnworth and Kearsley First also won a seat in Kearsley from ‘One Kearsley’. Melanie Livesey and Debbie Newall (both Kearsley ward) moved from One Kearsley to Labour in October 2023.
