Independent 2, Islington Independent Socialists 2. North London, stereotyped as a trendy borough but more down-to-earth than often realised. Much linked with Labour leaders current and past. Includes Finsbury with some city financial services.

Hillrise has a byelection on 15 August (held by Labour). Islington Independent Socialists were formed by Matt Nathan (Clerkenwell) and Asima Shaikh (Finsbury Park) in July 2024. Phil Graham (Bunhill) and Ilkay Cinko-Oner (Laycock) moved from Labour to Independent in July 2024.
