Cilftonville is vacant (held by an Independent elected for Reform UK). Seven former Reform UK turned Independent councillors joined Restore Britain in February 2026. Rich Lehmann (Swale East) moved from Green Party to Independent in December 2025 (although remains in the Green Party group). Amelia Randall (Birchington and Rural) moved from Reform UK to UK Independence Party in September 2025.
