Ajaz Rehman (Lye Valley) moved from Labour to Independent group in November 2023. Six ex-Labour councillors formed the Oxford Socialist Independent group in November 2023; Shaista Aziz (Rose Hill and Iffley) and Amar Latif (Cowley) moved from Labour to Independent Group in October 2023; Sajjad Malik (Temple Cowley) and Barbara Coyne (Headington Hill and Northway) moved from Labour to ungrouped Independent.
