The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.
Results
Burnley: The byelection in Lanehead ward held on 4 November was won by Shiraz Ahmed, who was an Independent candidate. He succeeds an Independent councillor elected as Labour.
Burnley: The byelection in Queensgate ward held on 4 November was won by Musgaraf Parvez, who was an Independent candidate. He succeeds an Independent councillor elected as Labour.
Fife: The byelection in Buckhaven, Methil and Wemyss Villages ward held on 6 November was won by Anne Marie Caldwell. Scottish National Party gain from an Independent elected as Labour.
Harborough: The byelection in Fleckney ward held on 6 November was won by Jonny Austin. Reform UK gain from Conservative.
Newark and Sherwood: The byelection in Balderton North and Coddington ward held on 6 November was won by Kay Smith. Reform UK gain from a Green Party councillor elected as an Independent.
Newark and Sherwood: The byelection in Castle ward held on 6 November was won by Michelle Home. Reform UK gain from an Independent.
South Derbyshire: The byelection in Seales ward held on 6 November was won by Graham Wood. Independent gain from Labour.
Tandridge: The byelection in Lingfield, Crowhurst and Tandridge ward held on 6 November was won by Alan Schmidt. Lingfield and Crowhurst Residents hold.
Tandridge: The byelection in Westway ward held on 6 November was won by Martin Redman. Liberal Democrat gain from Conservative.
West Devon: The byelection in Okehampton South ward held on 6 November was won by Jan Goffey. Liberal Democrat gain from Green Party.
Brent: Following last week’s news it has been confirmed that Raja Rajan-Seelan (Wembley Central ward) has been accepted into the Conservative group.
Cornwall: Pauline Giles, who was elected for the Conservatives in St Blazey division, has left the party to sit as an Independent Non-aligned councillor.
Hounslow: Guy Lambert, who was elected for the Labour Party in Brentford West ward but left the party in January to sit as an Independent Socialist, has now joined the Green Party.
Kent: Reform UK have continued to shed councillors. Isabella Kemp, elected for Reform UK in Sheppey division, has been suspended from the party and is sitting as an Independent county councillor.
Stoke-on-Trent: Daniel Jellyman, who was elected for the Conservatives in Hanford, Newstead and Trentham ward, has joined Reform UK. Two other councillors have left the Conservative group to sit as non-aligned councillors: they are Heather Blurton (Bucknall and Eaton Park ward) and Maxine Clark (Hanford, Newstead and Trentham ward).
Waverley: Janet Crowe, who was elected for the Labour Party in Godalming Farncombe and Catteshall ward but left the party in July, has now joined the Liberal Democrats.
West Devon: Kevin Ball, who was elected for the Conservatives in Okehampton North ward, has joined the Independent group.
West Oxfordshire: Adam Clements, who was elected for the Liberal Democrats in Milton under Wychwood ward but suspended from the whip in June, has now returned to the group.
Bradford: Worth Valley ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Russell Brown. Term ends 2028.
Cornwall: St Columb Minor and Colan division, after the resignation of Cornish Independent Non-aligned councillor Christine Parsonage, who was elected for Reform UK. Term ends 2029.
Derbyshire: Horsley division, after the resignation of Reform UK councillor Richard Morgan due to ill health. Term ends 2029.

Blackpool: The byelection due in Greenlands ward will be held on 18 December.
Caerphilly: The byelection due in Penyrheol ward will be held on 11 December.
Cornwall: The byelection due in St Columb Minor and Colan division will be held on 18 December.
East Devon: The byelection due in Seaton ward will be held on 11 December.
Other updates
Lancaster: The council has accepted it was wrong to declare a vacancy in Bare ward, as Kate Knight (Conservative) was not actually disqualified through failure to attend meetings. She has been restored to the council.
