Farnham Residents 11, Unaligned Independent 3. Rural south-west Surrey district, with several market towns (Godalming, Farnham, Haslemere) and the North Downs.
The council will be merged with Guildford, Runnymede, Spelthorne, Surrey Heath, and Woking to form a new West Surrey unitary council in 2027. There is a vacant seat in Western Commons ward (held by the Conservatives). The Liberal Democrats held Haslemere West at a byelection on 7 July. The Farnham Residents withdrew support from the administration in February 2026. Kika Mirylees (Farnham Firgrove) moved from Farnham Residents to unaffiliated Independent in February 2026.
