Farnham Residents 11, Unaligned Independent 3. Rural south-west Surrey district, with several market towns (Godalming, Farnham, Haslemere) and the North Downs.
The council will be merged with Guildford, Runnymede, Spelthorne, Surrey Heath, and Woking to form a new West Surrey unitary council in 2027. Haslemere West has a byelection on 7 July (held by the Liberal Democrats). There is a vacant seat in Western Commons ward (held by the Conservatives). The Farnham Residents withdrew support from the administration in February 2026. Kika Mirylees (Farnham Firgrove) moved from Farnham Residents to unaffiliated Independent in February 2026.
