Residents’ Associations 20 (Oxted and Limpsfield Residents 8, Burstow, Horne and Outwood Residents 3, Godstone Residents 3, Dormansland and Felcourt Residents 2, Lingfield and Crowhurst Residents 2, Bletchingley and Nutfield Residents 1, Whyteleafe Residents 1).The easternmost district in Surrey, bordering on Croydon. The main towns are in the north of the district: Caterham, Warlingham, and Woldingham.

At byelections on 6 November, the Liberal Democrats gained Westway from the Conservatives, while Lingfield and Crowhurst Residents held Lingfield, Crowhurst and Tandridge ward. The council will be replaced by an East Surrey unitary council in 2027. Lewis Sharp (Chaldon) moved from Conservative to Reform UK in October 2025. The Liberal Democrats held Whyteleafe at a byelection on 16 October.
