Defections
- Ashfield: Dawn Justice, who was elected for the Conservatives in Underwood ward, has joined Reform UK.

- Leicestershire: Mark Frisby, who was elected for the Conservatives in Melton West division, has left the party to sit as an Independent county councillor.
- Orkney Islands: John Ross Scott, who was elected for the Scottish Green Party in Kirkwall East ward, has been expelled from the party.
- Ribble Valley: Lee Street, who was elected as an Independent councillor for Wiswell and Barrow ward, has joined the Conservative Party.
