The Conservatives regained Bourne at a byelection on 21 November, after their previous councillor had joined the Brexit Party. Heidi Brunsdon (Imberdown) and Andrew Lea (Lindfield and High Weald) moved from Conservative to Independent Conservative in July 2019.
