Labour gained Murton from Reform UK at a byelection on 5 March. Nick Brown (West Auckland) moved from Reform UK to unaligned in February 2026. Michael Ramage (Shildon and Dene Valley) moved from Reform UK to ungrouped in February 2026. Paul Bean (Crook) moved from Reform UK to non-aligned in November 2025, to Advance UK in January 2026.
