The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

Luton: The byelection in Dallow ward held on 4 August was won by Alia Khan. Labour hold.
Shetland: The byelection in North Isles ward held on 4 August was won by Robert Thomson. He was an Independent candidate as were all his rivals.

Blackpool: David Owen, who was elected for the Labour Party in Victoria ward, has left the group to sit as a non-aligned Independent.
Brighton and Hove: Two sitting councillors have been expelled from membership of the Labour Party. Anne Pissaridou (North Portslade ward) was already suspended from the Labour group and sitting as an Independent, while Nick Childs (Queen’s Park ward) will now lose the whip.
Denbighshire: Jeanette Chamberlain-Jones, who was elected for the Labour Party in Rhyl South ward, has left the party and is sitting as a non-aligned councillor.
Forest of Dean: Brian Jones, who was elected for the Conservatives in Longhope and Huntley ward, has joined the ‘Independent 2’ Group.
Tunbridge Wells: Andrew Hickey, who was elected for the Liberal Democrats in Pantiles and St Mark’s ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.

Ashfield: Hucknall Central ward, after the death of Ashfield Independents councillor Jim Blagden. Term ends 2023.
Gloucester: Tuffley ward, after the death of Conservative councillor and former Mayor Colin Organ. Term ends 2024.
Gwynedd: Llanuwchllyn division, after the resignation of Plaid Cymru councillor Alan Jones Evans. Term ends 2027.
Ryedale: Pickering West ward, after the resignation of Liberal Party councillor Carrie Brackstone. Term ends at the end of March next year when the authority is abolished.
Sandwell: Wednesbury South ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Kirat Singh. Term ends 2024.
Shropshire: Bridgnorth West and Tasley division, after the death of Conservative councillor Les Winwood. Term ends 2025.
Stockport: Edgeley and Cheadle Heath ward, after the death of Labour councillor Sheila Bailey. Term ends May next year.

Arun: The byelection due in Barnham ward will be held on 8 September.
Cannock Chase: The byelection due in Hednesford North ward will be held on 8 September.
Hartlepool: The byelection due in Foggy Furze ward will be held on 8 September.
Mid Sussex: The byelection due in Bolney ward will be held on 15 September.
West Sussex: The byelection due in Felpham division will be held on 8 September.
