The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Result

Warrington: The byelection in Burtonwood and Winwick ward held on 6 February was won by Alex Abbey. Labour hold.

Cornwall: Jeff Collins, who was elected for the Conservatives in Camborne Trelowarren division, has left the party group and is sitting as a non-aligned councillor.
Hampshire: Michael Westbrook, who was elected for the Labour Party in Basingstoke Central division, is now sitting as a Basingstoke and Deane Independent councillor.
Hartlepool: The defection of councillors to the Brexit Party last September has been reversed, with all but one councillor leaving the party. Six (Tim Fleming, Shane Moore and Barbara Ward from Headland and Harbour ward, James Brewer and Tom Cassidy from Hart ward, and Bob Buchan from Fens and Rossmere ward) have reformed the Independent Union. Lee Cartwright (Foggy Furze ward) has returned to the Veterans and Peoples Party. Tony Richardson (Fens and Rossmere ward) is now an unaligned Independent councillor.
Lancashire: Alan Hosker, who was elected for the Brexit Party in Padiham and Burnley West division, has joined the Conservative Party.
Newcastle-under-Lyme: Ian Wilkes, who was elected for the Liberal Democrats in Audley ward, has joined the Conservative Party.
St Helens: Pam Howard, who was elected for the Labour Party in Earlestown ward but left the party in October, has now joined The Independents group on the council.
Wiltshire: Jon Hubbard, who was elected for the Liberal Democrats in Melksham South division, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.

Amber Valley: Kilburn, Denby and Holbrook ward, after the death of veteran Conservative councillor Norman Bull. His term would have ended in May, so there will be no byelection.
Bolton: Westhoughton North and Chew Moor ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Christine Wild. Her term was due to end in May so no byelection will be held.
Canterbury: Westgate ward, after the death of Labour councillor Gill Gower. Term ends 2023.
Cheshire East: Crewe West ward, after the death of Labour councillor Brian Roberts. Term ends 2023.
Northumberland: Alnwick division, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Robbie Moore, now Member of Parliament for Keighley. Term ends 2021.
Sandwell: Wednesbury South ward, after the death of Labour councillor Bob Lloyd. Term ends 2022.
Sheffield: Broomhill and Sharrow Vale ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Michelle Cook due to ill health. As her term would have ended in May, she will not be replaced in a byelection.
South Somerset: Parrett ward, after the resignation of Liberal Democrat councillor Tony Vaughan. Term ends 2023.
Thanet: Newington ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Karen Constantine. Term ends 2023.

Clackmannanshire: The byelection due in Clackmannanshire East ward will be held on 19 March.
Stratford-on-Avon: The byelection due in Welford-on-Avon ward will be held on 12 March.
