The election due in 7 May in St Helens Town Centre ward has been postponed due to the death of a candidate. Bold and Lea Green, and Rainhill, have vacant seats (held by the Green Party and The Independents, respectively). David Hawley (Bold and Lea Green) moved from Green Party to Reform UK in January 2026.
