Thanet Independents 7, Independent 1. The north-eastern tip of Kent, with the towns of Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs (birthplace of Ted Heath).

Newington has a vacant seat (held by Labour). The Conservatives held Cliffsend and Pegwell at a byelection on 13 February. A minority Conservative administration was replaced by a minority Labour one in October 2019.
