Independent 1, Independent in Green Party group 1. The north-eastern tip of Kent, with the towns of Margate, Ramsgate and Broadstairs (birthplace of Ted Heath).

John Dennis (Garlinge) moved from Independent to Reform UK in February 2026. Marc Rattigan (Cliftonville East) moved from Conservative to Reform UK in February 2026; his ward colleague Barry Manners had done so the previous month. Reform UK took a seat from the Thanet Independents in Garlinge at a byelection on 30 October. Rob Yates (Margate Central) moved from Labour to Green Party in September 2025.
