Independent 2. A large part of south Warwickshire, centred on the town known as Shakespeare's birthplace. Also includes small towns of Alcester, Southam and Shipston-on-Stour.
The government proposes to merge the council with Warwick to create a South Warwickshire unitary council in 2027. The Conservatives gained Kinwarton from the Liberal Democrats at a byelection on 9 July. At a byelection on 20 November Reform UK gained Salford Priors and Alcester Rural from the Conservatives.
