The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

King’s Lynn and West Norfolk: The byelection in Hunstanton ward held on 27 November was won by Fred Pidcock. Reform UK gain from an Independent.
Pendle: The byelection in Barnoldswick ward held on 27 November was won by Bryony Hartley. Liberal Democrat hold.
Sunderland: The byelection in Hetton ward held on 27 November was won by Ian McKinley. Reform UK gain from Labour.

Ashford: Kate Leavey, who was elected for the Labour Party in Beaver ward, has joined the Green Party.
Doncaster: Nicola Brown, who was elected for Reform UK in Adwick and Carcroft ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Haringey: Alexandra Worrell, who was elected for the Labour Party in Stroud Green ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Hounslow: Afzaal Kiani, who was elected for the Labour Party in Hounslow Heath ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Liverpool: Assen Christov, who was elected for the Labour Party in Vauxhall ward, has had the whip withdrawn and is sitting as an Independent councillor.
North Yorkshire: John Mann, who was elected for the Conservatives in Oatlands and Pannal division, has left the party to sit as an Independent unaffiliated councillor. As a result the Conservative and associated Independent councillors no longer have an overall majority on the council.
Peterborough: Rylan Ray, who was elected for the Conservatives in Eye, Thorney and Newborough ward, has been suspended from the party following criminal charges.
Rotherham: Mick Bower, who was elected as an Independent in Sitwell ward, has joined the Green Party.
Swindon: Rob Heath, who was elected for the Labour Party in Priory Vale ward, has joined the Green Party.
Walsall: Vera Waters, who was elected for the Conservatives in Rushall-Shelfield ward, has left the party to sit as a non-party councillor.

Amber Valley: Codnor, Langley Mill and Aldercar ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor David Moon. Term ends 2027.
Cotswold: The Rissingtons ward, after the impending resignation of Green Party Andrew Maclean due to ill health. Term ends 2027.
Gosport: Bridgemary ward, after the death of Liberal Democrat councillor Bob Maynard. Term ends 2028.
Sunderland: Washington West ward, after the death of Labour councillor Dorothy Trueman. Her term was due to end in May so no byelection follows.
Tameside: Denton South ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Claire Reid. As her term was due to end next May, she will not be replaced.
