Independent 10. South Yorkshire industrial town based on the iron and steel industry but now attracting high technology manufacturing. Includes the Dearne Valley and some ex-mining areas. The council's failures to protect children from sexual exploitation led to it being taken over by Commissioners in 2014.
Mick Bower (Sitwell) moved from Independent to Green Party in November 2025. Reform UK gained a seat in Keppel from Labour at a byelection on 10 July.
