Liberal Party 3, Liverpool Community Independents 3. Seaport on the Mersey in the north-west; suffered deprivation, riots and political extremist infiltration in the 1980s but has since undergone much regeneration. Development along the shore cost it World Heritage Site status in 2021. Adopted a directly-elected Mayor in 2012 but ended the system in 2023.

Commissioners are assisting in running the council.
