Liberal Party 3, Liverpool Community Independents 3, Independent 2. Seaport on the Mersey in the north-west; suffered deprivation, riots and political extremist infiltration in the 1980s but has since undergone much regeneration. Development along the shore cost it World Heritage Site status in 2021. Adopted a directly-elected Mayor in 2012 but ended the system in 2023.

Steve Munby (Dingle) moved from Labour to Independent in August 2025. The Green Party held Sefton Park at a byelection on 17 July.
