The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.
Results
Gravesham: The byelection in Westcourt ward held on 17 October was won by Helen Ashenden. Conservative gain from Labour.
Liverpool: The byelection in Princes Park ward held on 17 October was won by Joanne Anderson. Labour hold.
North Yorkshire: The byelection in Upper Dales division held on 17 October was won by Yvonne Peacock. Conservative gain from Independent.
Richmondshire: The byelection in Hawes, High Abbotside and Upper Swaledale ward held on 17 October was won by Jill McMullon, partner of the late councillor John Blackie. Independent hold.
Uttlesford: Three members of the Residents for Uttlesford group have joined the Green Party and formed a Green group on the council. They are Paul Fairhurst (Saffron Walden Shire ward), Anthony Gerard (Newport ward), and Barbara Light (Saffron Walden Audley ward). The switch is amicable: two of the three hold executive posts and will continue to do so.
Vale of White Horse: Ruth Molyneaux, who was elected for the Liberal Democrats in Grove North ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
New vacancies
Boston: Skirbeck ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Alistair Arundell. Term ends 2023.
Derbyshire: Whaley Bridge division, after the death of Conservative county councillor Alison Fox. Term ends 2021.
Dover: Guston, Kingsdown and St Margaret’s-at-Cliffe ward, after the resignation of the outgoing Leader of the Council Keith Morris, who was a Conservative councillor. Term ends 2023.
Lincoln: Witham ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Keith Weaver. Term ends May next year.

Cardiff: The byelection due in Llanishen division will be held on 21 November.
