North Tyneside: The byelection in Longbenton and Benton ward held on 2 July, was won by Bryan Macdonald. Labour hold.
Nottinghamshire: The byelection in Newark West division held on 3 July was won by Keith Girling, who regains his county council seat. Conservative gain from Reform UK (by eight votes).
Powys: The byelection in Llanidloes division held on 3 July was won by Fleur Frantz-Morgans. Liberal Democrat hold (by six votes).
Suffolk: The byelection in Tower division held on 3 July was won by Martin Robinson. Reform UK gain from Conservative.
Haringey: The Green Party has formed a joint group with the Independent Socialist Alliance councillors, containing two from each.
North Ayrshire: Todd Ferguson, who was elected for the Conservatives in North Coast ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Reigate and Banstead: Jenny Orchard and Mark Smith, both of whom were elected for the Labour Party in Redhill West and Wray Common ward and were the council’s only Labour councillors, have formed the Town and Village Independents Group.
