There is a byelection in Halstead, Knockholt and Badgers Mount on 26 March (held by a Conservative). The Conservatives gained Hextable from an Independent at a byelection on 5 March. Laurence Ball (Farningham, Horton Kirby and South Darenth) moved from Conservative to Reform UK in January 2026; James Barnett (Cowden and Hever) did so in December 2025.
