West Devon: The byelection in Tavistock North ward held on 22 June was won by Ursula Mann, who stood as an Independent candidate. She tied with Liberal Democrat candidate Holly Greenbury-Pullen in votes and won the Returning Officer’s casting vote on drawing of lots. Independent gain from Green Party.
West Lancashire: The election in Rural South ward, postponed from 4 May to 22 June, was won by Ian Rigby, Linda Webster, and Thomas Marsh-Pritchard. All three are from the Our West Lancashire localist group.
Wyre: The election in Warren ward, postponed from 4 May to 22 June, was won by Maureen Blair and Brian Stephenson. Labour held one seat and gained one from the Wyre Alliance (the previous councillor having been elected for the UK Independence Party).
