New vacancies

  • East Sussex: Heathfield and Mayfield division, after the death of Conservative county councillor Rupert Simmons. Term ends 2025.
  • North Kesteven: Billinghay, Marton and North Kyme ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Amanda Sanderson. Her term was due to end next month so no byelection is caused.
  • Nottingham: St Ann’s ward, after the death of Labour councillor Sue Johnson. Her term was due to end in May so no byelection will occur.
  • Plymouth: Efford and Lipson ward, after the death of Labour councillor and former Lord Mayor Brian Vincent. Term ends 2024.
  • Thanet: Salmestone ward, after the resignation of ungrouped councillor Pauline Farrance. She would have ceased to be a councillor next month.
