Rushmoor

Rushmoor Independent Group 3 (includes the Green Party councillor), Independent 1. Compact district in north-east Hampshire, neutrally named as between Aldershot and Farnborough. A major army base with the aviation industry around Farnborough airfield.

The government proposes to merge the council with Basingstoke and Deane, and Rushmoor, to create a new unitary North Hampshire council in 2027. Fernhill has a double vacancy election on 7 May (held by a Rushmoor Independent Group councillor elected for Labour). Jules Crossley (Aldershot Park) moved from Rushmoor Independent Group to Green Party in February 2026.
