Worcestershire Independent Group 4, Independents in the Green and Independent group 2. County south of Birmingham, unwillingly united with Herefordshire from 1974-96.

The government proposes to replace the county council with two unitary councils in 2027. Karl Perks (Areley Kings and Riverside) moved from Reform UK to Conservative in July 2026. Matthew Jones (Kidderminster St John’s) moved from Reform UK to Worcestershire Independent Group in 2026. A minority Reform UK leadership was removed and replaced by a Green Party led coalition in May 2026. Sam Ammar (Bromsgrove South) was suspended from the Liberal Democrats in May 2026. Jo Monk (Redditch East) and Ashley Monk (Redditch West) moved from Reform UK to Worcestershire Independent Group in May 2026. David Taylor (Redditch East) moved from Reform UK to Independent in February 2026 and then joined Worcestershire Independent Group.
