There will be a double vacancy election in Daresbury, Moore and Sandymoor ward on 7 May (held by Labour). Farnworth has a vacant seat (held by Labour). Chris Loftus (Halton Castle) and Kath Loftus (Halton Lea) moved from Labour to Independent in March 2026. Kevan Wainwright (Hough Green) moved from Labour to Independent in January 2026.
