Independent 4. Almost all of the Suffolk coast, including the port of Felixstowe, the fishing port of Lowestoft, and the eroded former port of Dunwich. Also includes Sizewell nuclear plant and smaller towns (Eye, Bungay, Beccles).

The government proposes to abolish the council in 2027, with most forming part of a new unitary Central and Eastern Suffolk council and 25 parishes forming part of Ipswich and South Suffolk. Amanda Folley (Western Felixstowe) moved from Labour to Independent in March 2026.
