The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Middlesbrough: The byelection in Coulby Newham ward held on 20 February was won by Luke Mason. The Conservatives regain a seat lost when the previous councillor was suspended from the party.

Blackburn with Darwen: Tasleem Fazal, who was elected for the Labour Party in Billinge and Beardwood ward, has had the Labour whip suspended and is sitting as an Independent councillor.
Bolton: Mark Cunningham, who was elected for the UK Independence Party in Kearsley ward but joined the Brexit Party in August, has now joined the Conservative Party.
Darlington: Paul Baldwin, who was elected for the Labour Party in Cockerton ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
East Cambridgeshire: Two councillors for Ely West ward have left the Liberal Democrats to sit as Independents. They are Sue Austen and Paola Trimarco.
Folkestone and Hythe: Ray Field, who was elected for the Labour Party in Folkestone Harbour ward, has been suspended by the party after accepting a cabinet post without the permission of the Labour group.
Plymouth: Margaret Corvid, who was elected for the Labour Party in Drake ward but was suspended from the party whip in December 2019, has been readmitted.

Ashford: Park Farm North ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Jo Gideon, now Member of Parliament for Stoke-on-Trent Central. Term ends 2023.
Denbighshire: Corwen division, after the death of Plaid Cymru councillor Huw Jones. Term ends 2022.
Edinburgh: Craigentinny/Duddingston ward, after the impending resignation of Scottish National Party councillor Ian Campbell due to ill health. Term ends 2022.
Leicester: North Evington ward, after the death of Labour councillor Jean Khote. Term ends 2023.
Maidstone: Boxley ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Wendy Hinder. As her term was due to end in May, she will not be replaced in a byelection.
North Lanarkshire: Thorniewood ward, after the resignation of Scottish National Party councillor Steven Bonnar, now Member of Parliament for Coatbridge, Chryston and Bellshill. Term ends 2022.
Perth and Kinross: Perth City North ward, after the resignation of Scottish National Party councillor Dave Doogan, now Member of Parliament for Angus. Term ends 2021.
Wiltshire: By Brook division, after the resignation of Conservative councillor and former council leader Jane Scott. Term ends 2021.
Wolverhampton: Bushbury South and Low Hill ward, after the death of the deputy leader of the council Peter Bilson, who was a Labour councillor. His term was due to end in May so no byelection will be held.

Ashford: The byelection due in Park Farm North ward will be held on 12 March.
East Staffordshire: The byelection due in Eton Park ward will be held on 26 March.
Gloucestershire: The byelection due in Winchcombe and Woodmancote division will be held on 26 March.
North Lanarkshire: The byelection due in Thorniewood ward will be held on 7 May.
North Lincolnshire: The byelection due in Ashby ward will be held on 26 March.
North Lincolnshire: The byelection due in Broughton and Appleby ward will be held on 26 March.
