Spelthorne

Independent Spelthorne Group 5 (the Green Party councillor is also in this group), unaffiliated Independent 1. Was part of Middlesex until 1965 when transferred to Surrey. Includes Sunbury, Shepperton, Stanwell and Ashford.

The council will be replaced by a West Surrey unitary council in 2027. Mary Bing Dong (Sunbury Common) moved from Conservative to unaffiliated Independent in February 2026. Med Buck (Ashford North and Stanwell South) moved from Labour to non-aligned in October 2025, to Conservative in November 2025. The Liberal Democrats gained a seat in Staines from the Green Party at a byelection on 16 October. Commissioners have been appointed to guide the council.
