Melton Dorian has a byelection on 11 November (held by an Opposition councillor elected as a Conservative). John Illingworth (Melton Sysonby) and Donald Pritchett (Bottesford) moved from Independent to Conservative in 2021. Leigh Higgins (Somerby) has been suspended from the Conservative whip since September 2021, and Simon Lumley (Melton Newport) has been suspended since June 2020.
