Independents 8, Uplands 2, Independents@Swansea 1. Second largest city of Wales, previously known as a centre for thecopper trade. Also includes the Mumbles resort and the Gower peninsula which is mostly farmland. North of Swansea are some coal-mining areas.

Joe Hale (St Thomas) moved from Labour to Independent in February 2026. Alan Jeffery and Sandra Joy (both Uplands) moved from Independent to Liberal Democrat in February 2026. Mark Tribe (Llangyfelach) moved from Independents@Swansea to Conservative in December 2025. Richard Lewis (Gower) moved from Conservative to Independent in November 2025.
