Independents 8, Uplands 2, Independents@Swansea 1. Second largest city of Wales, previously known as a centre for thecopper trade. Also includes the Mumbles resort and the Gower peninsula which is mostly farmland. North of Swansea are some coal-mining areas.

At byelections on 18 June, Labour held Morriston and the Conservatives regained Mumbles from a Reform UK councillor elected as a Conservative. The Liberal Democrats gained Fairwood from the Conservatives at a byelection on 28 May. Joe Hale (St Thomas) moved from Labour to Independent in February 2026. Alan Jeffery and Sandra Joy (both Uplands) moved from Independent to Liberal Democrat in February 2026.
