HDC Independent Group 9, Cambs Independent Group 7. Demoted from being a county in 1974 but now a rapidly growing area in the east of England, between Cambridge and Peterborough. Includes the towns of St Ives, and Ramsey - the first local council to be run by UKIP.

Martin Hassall (Buckden) moved from Liberal Democrat to Cambs Independent Group in May 2024. The Liberal Democrats gained a seat in Great Paxton from the Conservatives at a byelection on 2 May.
