Laurie Carnie (Mearns) moved from opposition Independent to Reform UK in May 2025. Dominic Lonchay (East Garioch) and John Crawley (Ellon and District) moved from Conservative to Reform UK in May 2025. Robbie Withey (Huntly, Strathbogie and Howe of Alford) moved from Conservative to opposition Independent in April 2025. John Cox (Independent, Banff and District) is a Reform UK member but sits as an Independent councillor.
