The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

  • Cambridge: The byelection in Queen Edith’s ward on 13 November was won by Viki Sanders. Liberal Democrat gain from Labour.
  • Dartford: The byelection in Brent ward on 13 November was won by Rosanna Currans. Conservative hold.
  • Dartford: The byelection in Littlebrook ward on 13 November was won by Daisy Page. Labour hold.
  • Derbyshire: The byelection in Alport and Derwent division on 13 November was won by David Taylor. Conservative hold.
  • Mid Sussex: The byelection in Bolney ward on 13 November was won by John Allen. Conservative hold.
  • Wigan: The byelection in Douglas ward on 13 November was won by Maggie Skilling. Labour hold.
  • Wokingham: The byelection in Bulmershe and Whitegates ward on 13 November was won by Alison Swaddle. Conservative gain from a Liberal Democrat sitting as an Independent.

  • New Forest: Bransgore and Burley ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Ann Hickman. Term ends May next year.
  • Waveney: St Margarets ward, after the death of Labour councillor Roger Bellham. Term ends May next year. His death has given the Conservatives an overall majority.
  • Wealden: Crowborough West ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Major Antony Quin. Term ends May next year.
