There was no changes in this week’s byelection. The Conservatives held their county council seat in Petworth, West Sussex.
In the postponed polls, Labour narrowly retained its two seats in Beeston Central ward, Broxtowe, the Conservatives gained all three seats in North Worle, North Somerset from the Liberal Democrats, and Burnham-on-Crouch North returned an Independent and a Conservative to Maldon, as in 2003.
