The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

  • Amber Valley: David Farrelly was elected in Heage and Ambergate ward on 22 May. Labour hold.
  • Argyll and Bute: Neil Macintyre was elected in Oban South and the Isles ward on 22 May. Labour gain from Scottish National Party.
  • Babergh: Robert Lindsay was elected in South Cosford ward on 22 May. Green Party gain from Conservative.
  • Basingstoke and Deane: Robert Tate was elected in Baughurst and Tadley North ward on 22 May. Conservative hold.
  • Bath and North East Somerset: Terry Gazzard was elected in Bathavon North ward on 22 May. Conservative hold.
  • Bedford: Rosemary Bootiman was elected for Putnoe ward on 22 May. Liberal Democrat hold.
  • Blackpool: In three byelections on 22 May, Pamela Jackson was elected in Hawes Side ward, Kathryn Benson in Layton ward, and Ian Coleman in Talbot ward. All three were Labour holds.
  • Bristol: Sue Milestone was elected in St George West ward on 22 May. Labour/Co-operative hold.
  • Cambridgeshire: Peter Hudson was elected in Willingham ward on 22 May. Conservative hold.
  • Darlington: Pauline Culley was elected in Mowden ward on 22 May. Conservative hold.
  • Devon: Richard Hosking was elected councillor for Yealmpton division on 22 May. Conservative hold.
  • East Hertfordshire: George Cutting was elected in Bishops Stortford Central ward on 22 May. Conservative hold.
  • Fife: In two byelections on 22 May, Gary Guichan was elected for Cowdenbeath ward, and Alex Campbell was elected for The Lochs ward. Both were Labour holds.
  • Flintshire: Vicky Perfect was elected councillor for Flint Trelawny division on 22 May. Labour hold.
  • Gravesham: Shane Mochrie-Cox was elected in Coldharbour ward on 22 May. Labour hold.
  • Lancaster: In two byelections on 22 May, Abi Mills was elected in Scotforth West ward, and Jack Filmore was elected in University ward. Both were Green Party gains from Labour.
  • Malvern Hills: Chris Dell was elected in Lindridge ward on 22 May. Conservative hold.
  • Mid Suffolk: Barry Humphreys was elected for Stowmarket North ward on 22 May. Conservative regain (the previous councillor had defected to UKIP).
  • Reading: Josh Williams was elected for Park ward on 22 May. Green Party hold.
  • Scarborough: Heather Phillips was elected for Derwent Valley ward on 22 May. Conservative gain from Independent (the outgoing councillor was a member of UKIP).
  • Scottish Borders: Watson McAteer was elected for Hawick and Denholm ward on 22 May. Independent gain from Conservative.
  • South Hams: Judy Pearce was elected in Salcombe and Malborough ward on 22 May. Conservative hold.
  • Stroud: Caroline Molloy was elected councillor for Central ward on 22 May. Green Party gain from Independent.
  • Tewkesbury: Harry Turbyfield was elected councillor for Brockworth ward on 22 May. Conservative gain from Liberal Democrat.
  • Warwickshire: Chris Clark was elected councillor for Hartshill division on 22 May. Labour hold.
  • Waveney: Letitia Smith was elected for Halesworth ward on 22 May. Conservative hold.
  • West Oxfordshire: Richard Bishop was elected for Stonesfield and Tackley ward on 22 May. Conservative hold.
  • Worcestershire: Peter Bridle was elected for Arrow Valley East division on 22 May. UK Independence Party hold.
  • Wychavon: Bradley Thomas was elected for Fladbury ward on 22 May. Conservative hold.
  • Wyre: Colette Birch was elected for Hardhorn ward on 22 May. Conservative hold.

  • Argyll and Bute: The byelection in Oban North and Lorn ward will be held on 17 July.
  • Barnet: The election in Colindale ward has been postponed from 22 May to 26 June.
  • Craven: The byelection in Skipton West ward will be held on Wednesday 2 July.
  • North Yorkshire: The byelection in Skipton West division will be held on Wednesday 2 July.
  • Northampton: The byelection due in St James ward, held by Labour, will be held on 3 July.
  • Northamptonshire: The byelections due in Brixworth and Braunstone and Crick divisions, both held by the Conservatives, will be held on 3 July.
  • Pendle: The byelection in Old Laund Booth ward, held by the Liberal Democrats, will be held on 3 July.
  • Stratford-on-Avon: The byelection in Southam ward, held by an Independent who had been elected as a Conservative, will be held on 19 June.
  • Tendring: The byelection due in Manningtree, Mistley, Little Bentley and Tendring ward will be held on 3 July.
  • Tower Hamlets: The election in Blackwall and Cubitt Town ward has been postponed from 22 May to 3 July.
