Alliance Group 10 (Independent 6, Island Independent Network 3, Our Island 1; the Green Party is also in the group); Empowering Islanders 3, Independent 2, ABC Group 1 (also includes the Reform UK councillor), Independent Socialist 1. Unitary authority covering the whole Island off the Hampshire coast. Formerly agricultural but now has some aviation and shipbuilding manufacturing, as well as tourism.

The scheduled 2025 elections have been postponed to 2026. Reform UK held a seat in Lake North at a byelection on 2 October. Clare Mosdell (Newchurch Havenstreet and Ashey) moved from Conservative to Independent in August 2025. The Alliance Group (Island Independent Network) retained Wroxall, Lowtherville and Bonchurch at a byelection on 10 July. At byelections on 1 May, Reform UK gained a seat from the Conservatives in Central Rural ward.
